"Coinbase is a digital currency exchange, headquartered in San Francisco, California. They broker exchanges of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, and Litecoin with fiat currencies in approximately 32 countries; and bitcoin transactions and storage in 190 countries. Juan Suarez is the Vice President, General Counsel - Enterprise at Coinbase. In this role, Mr. Suarez manages general enterprise legal matters at Coinbase, including litigation, corporate affairs and governance, employment, regulatory affairs, securities regulatory, and data privacy & security. Coinbase is the world's most trusted virtual currency wallet and exchange. Its regulated financial services businesses serve millions of customers in more than thirty countries. Prior to Coinbase, Mr. Suarez was a litigation attorney at two national law firms, Goodwin Procter LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton. His previous work included consumer class action, securities fraud and derivative litigation lawsuits. Mr. Suarez received his Doctor of Law from the University of Chicago Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Penn State University."
